White is a popular color in the Bible. In fact, it is the most mentioned color in the Bible. It appears throughout the scriptures numerous times, especially in The Book of Revelation. The color even finds its way into Christian music at times with tunes about “A Snow White Dove” and “White As Snow.” So what is the meaning of this color when you read it in the Bible?
White represents purity, righteousness, and forgiveness. Of the many scriptures that contain this color, we will look at just a few of these favorite verses while keeping in mind what the color represents and symbolizes in the Bible.

Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. (Isaiah 1:18)
