Hate can be defined as extreme dislike or disgust. If there are things God hates it is definitely worth knowing what they are. Proverbs 6:16 speaks about six things the Lord hates, and then continues saying seven are an abomination to Him. The word abomination is defined as a feeling that causes disgust or hatred. With that being said, all seven things listed in this scripture falls under the category of things God hates.
(Proverbs 6:16) These six things the LORD hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood, A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that are swift in running to evil, A false witness who speaks lies, And one who sows discord among brethren.
